The hotel and spa complex is located in the beautiful natural environment of the Great Forest of Debrecen, with a special outdoor waterpark, thermal baths, indoor Mediterranean adventure baths, awaiting those who wish to regenerate, heal and relax. Relaxation and a variety of aquatic experiences are complemented by the Wellness Island and Sauna World, both accessible directly from the hotel, and the recreation area surrounding Aquaticum.

Aquaticum Indoor Aquapark

The Aquaticum Mediterranean Aquapark is housed in a 66-metre diameter dome hall. This unique facility, with its lush tropical vegetation and a wide range of experiences, brings summer to the hearts of bathers every day of the year. The aquatic paradise offers all-day relaxation and fun for all generations. For the little ones there is a special chlorine-free baby pool, for the older ones there are children's pools, whirlpools, outdoor and indoor children's playgrounds and exciting adventure elements. The building also houses the Mediterranean Restaurant and a Thai Massage facility.

Aquaticum Debrecen Thermal & Wellness Hotel

Our hotel offers 96 air-conditioned rooms with balcony. Our guests can choose between 7 room types and 3 suites. The rooms and apartments are equipped with wireless internet access, bathrobes, safe and minibar. Guests with reduced mobility or allergies are welcome to stay in special rooms. At Natura restaurant, located in the hotel, we offer Hungarian and international specialities prepared by award-winning chefs, and also cater for dietary dishes.

Aquaticum Thermal Baths

The pool hall of the thermal baths offer water temperatures of 33, 35 and 38 degree Celsius as well as an alternating pool with water kept at 20 and 40 degree Celsius and an outdoor pool with thermal water of 36-38 degree Celsius. Our thermal pools offer the benefits of thermal water and comfortable benches for peaceful relaxation. Refreshment is made even more relaxing by the pools' experience elements, bubbles, mushroom showers and hot tubs.

Aquaticum Water Park

Opened in the summer of 2020, Aquaticum Water Park features a children's pool, adventure pools, a wave pool, diving pool, thermal baths, swimming pool, an extraordinary 12-metre-high main building and extreme slides. The uniquely modern water park is connected by water surfaces, waterfalls, walls of plants and water veils, making it an ever-changing, shimmering experience reflecting the trees of the Great Forest. The exciting water playground will offer a range of water-related experiences, activities, themed programmes, musical performances and concerts to help you relax and have fun.

Aquaticum Sauna World

For the health-conscious person, sauna bathing is an excellent way to relax and revitalise mental and physical well-being. Our Thermal Baths feature a Sauna World of several hundred square meters, with Finnish saunas, steam cabins, an ice fountain, a tepidarium, an infrared sauna, a cold water splash pool, Kneipp pools and adventure showers. The Sauna World also offers two separate relaxation rooms and a relaxation garden. The resting areas are equipped with lounge chairs, mood lighting and soft music to ensure our guests can spend their time in a perfectly relaxing environment.

Aquaticum Wellness Island

The Aquaticum Wellness Island has been open since 2014 on the 1st floor of the Aquaticum Thermal Baths. Relaxation is an important part of our physical and mental balance, which is combined with a real recharge in our department. Our guests can choose from 35 types of massages and treatments combined with quality products. For our guests who prefer something special, we offer a choice of premium treatments, including the Anti-aging Gold Facial with Sultane de Saba products or our package offers. In 2020, the BEMER microcirculation treatments have been added to the range of services on our Wellness Island.

Medicinal Baths

In the spa's medicinal area, treatments are based on the medicinal water containing a wide range, nearly 40 types of beneficial minerals and ingredients. Guests can recover here under the supervision of specialist medical staff who will draw up a personalised treatment programme based on the results of a medical examinations. In addition to the usual spa therapies, a wide range of physiotherapy and movement therapies are applied. Traditional, hydrotherapy and natural treatments are based on three pillars: prevention, therapy and rehabilitation.
