Garden of Lights Debrecen 2024 / 2025 - Pinocchio Multimedia Exhibition

Do you remember the little wooden boy whose nose grew longer every time he told a lie? Pinocchio's amazing adventure is now stepping out of the storybook and animated world and coming to life! It's time to explore with him as he escapes from Master Geppetto, gets caught by robbers, is imprisoned, goes to school, turns into a donkey, and is then swallowed by a giant whale. But by the end of the story, he understands why he needs to work, learn, and how to love. Experience the story with the main character, step into the world of light tales with your loved ones, and participate in our exciting interactive games! Let your imagination soar! Debrecen's newest attraction is now waiting for a grand adventure!

What is the Garden of Lights?

An unparalleled multimedia exhibition where you can stroll through a wonderful garden, surrounded by incredible visual and auditory spectacles – it will dazzle your senses and suddenly make you feel like you are part of the fairy tale. The Polish creators of the exhibition aim for the “light tales” of the Garden of Lights to travel around the world. This production is returning to us for the second time, providing excellent entertainment for both children and adults during the autumn and winter evenings! Millions of visitors have already marveled at this wonder internationally – now you can be part of it at ZOO Debrecen! And after experiencing it, don’t forget to visit the Budapest Botanical Garden, which had a huge success last season, this time featuring the adventures of the Smurfs!

ZOO Debrecen will enchant you with numerous attractions – fairy-tale scenes, characters, fantastic photo points, as well as beautifully decorated trees and other green spaces to admire, not to mention the unique multimedia attractions!

Opening Hours

The Pinocchio multimedia exhibition will welcome visitors from October 18, 2024, to March 2, 2025. Open Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday to Sunday and public holidays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. However, on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the fairy tale world also takes a break!
